Our Herd 

Magnet came to us as an older gelded, dehorned male from a petting zoo that was closing. As a result he loves people and the attention they give.  He was named by our grandson Corban.

Curley came as a young weanling from the same petting zoo as Magnet. Though he was supposed to be gelded we soon found out that he isn't. He is now 3 years  old and wants to mount all the females, so we have had to put him in a separate pasture. He also loves people from his earlier experience. His name also came from our grandson Corban. He has become our herdsire and has a magnificent set of horns.

Born on March 7, 2006. He and his brother are very playful and have lots of fun together.  We named the two newborn goats after some countries in Africa we had visited. Togo is in West Africa, between Ghana and Benin.

Born on March 8, 2006. He was named after the country Burkina Faso (originally Upper Volta) that Nancy visited in 2002.

Marguerite is an older female beyond bearing age.  We received her free from the same farm that sold us the other two females because she was so close to them. We don't know her age, but she appears to be healthy and enjoys being here

She surprised us in May 2007 by giving birth to a boy kid.

She started having difficulty eating in early October and died on the morning of Oct 31, 2007.

Emma is of undetermined age. We got her from a farm in Austin. She gave birth to a little boy kid in March, 2006 , twins in April 2007, and a little girl in March 2008.

Melody is from the same farm in Austin. Her age is not known. She also gave birth to a little boy kid in March 2006, and twins in April 2007.

Born Feb, 2002, Luna came to us on July 18, 2006 from the Fairy Tale farm in Waxahachie. She is registered with TAGRA  (#658467).
